A Christmas Eve Pamper Evening

It’s Christmas eveeeeee! I’m so excited and I’m about to get ready for some festive drinks tonight with friends and wanted to do a little Christmas related post to say Merry Christmas. I figured seeing as I’m pampering myself a little, I’d take a few snaps.
No Christmas Eve is complete without a few Christmas films, I happen to be sad enough to own the entire Home Alone collection, it’s definitely a well loved classic for me and I’ll be watching one whilst doing my make-up. Of course, I plan to slather a face mask on whilst reading a magazine in my Christmas pyjamas. I’ve also chosen to paint my nails with Essie Bahama Mama.

Most importantly I wanted to wish all you lovely lot a very, very Merry Christmas, and I hope you all have amazing days whatever you get up to. Christmas always makes me feel a little mushy and I honestly appreciate every single one of you who follow and read my blog. Sending you all massive Christmas kisses xx

Pamper night essentials

Tonight is one of those nights where we have absolutely nothing to do – they’re secretly my favourite types. I can’t think of anything better than a mini pampering, horror films, takeaway food and a big fat quilt when it’s pissing down with rain outside. I’ve done a post like this before but the time has come again and I’m going to have a bath, get into my pj’s and then dive into bed (we have freshly clean sheets and bedding!!!! The best feeling).
The colour I’m going to paint my nails is ‘405 Rose Libertine’ which is a pretty pink, I went to Boots today looking for one of those pots of nail polish remover where you just dunk your finger in and it quickly removes the polish, I managed to pick up the wrong one and I have a nail remover which removes false nails. doh. luckily, it did actually remove my nail polish. I have Soap & Glory ‘The Fab Pore’ facial peel which is a scrummy smelling face mask and I have Weleda pomegranate regenerating body oil which makes my skin insanely soft.
A night in wouldn’t be compete without food, I’ve saved a cupcake from today which I’ve kept well out of reach from the boyfriends grabby hands, I also still have this months copy of Elle to read. I also have several new books on my kindle to get stuck into.

Saturday night pamper

Call me boring, but I adore comfy Saturday nights in with the boyfriend, watching crap tv and stuffing our faces with endless snacks. A little pamper sesh is always a perfect idea if you’re having a night in, I plan to have a hot bath with an overload of bubbles, magazines and a face mask. If I’m going all out I like to use my Laura Mercier Body Soufflé in ‘Creme Brûlée’ – it smells exactly like Creme Brûlée and sinks so gorgeously into the skin, such a luxurious product. I will then finally get into my favourite, super comfy pyjamas in time for Take Me Out, which is the cheesiest but best tv programme ever, I’m absolutely hooked, even the boyfriend gets sucked in.
